Accepting a new horse at CRR is not a simple task.  We get “take my horse” phone calls and emails from owners who are unable, unwilling to care for, or bit off more than they can chew with their horses.  With our current limited space, it's hard to say no. However, potential new horses are considered through an individualized, case by case procedure.  We do wish that we could take every horse in need, but that is simply not possible.
